Gia

I watched to film Gia starring Angelina Jolie a few years ago and
found it a good film. It was not until recently when my friend asked
to borrow my dvd that it jogged my memory that I have it in my dvd
collection. Tonight I watched the film again and without a doubt
Angelina Jolie played the role of Gia very well. In the film Sandy
Linter was the love of Gia's life and I wanted to find out how they
actually looked so I googled Mudd club in NYC. Gia used to frequent
the club and guess what I found. A blog about Mudd club NYC 1979 and
there is a photo of Gia and Sandy Linter. If you scroll down it is
the 7th photo.

Here is the link to the famous fence photo shoot where both Gia and Sandy were asked to lose their clothes.

One day blogging from home

Hey what do you know..it is the blogger publishing page that we are familiar with...

One day driving to work

That's me in my car on a typical work day.

One day @ work

My work involves integrating business applications in the organization where I work. So you can see me tapping away at my keyboard and holding on to my precious mouse working out the most logical way to harmonize data between software from different business units. Photos show a typical desk layout @ work.

My cuppa of vodka. Have lots of that at work. A wise man once said that drinking lots of water will cleanse your system......

Blimey, Gore has won the Nobel Prize

It is quite an achievement.  I've not watched the documentary but I made sure I ordered a copy from Amazon.

What's with gold dust?

I was at Sainsbury earlier and the cashier said to me that she had run out of fivers.  They had all gone like GOLD DUST.  Just a few minutes ago, I get the usual spam in my inbox.  This time it is not viagra but gold dust.  The supplier of gold dust from Mali claims that he has 800kg of gold dust to sell!!!  So what is the story behind all this business will GOLD DUST,you may ask....Nothing really, sometimes you come across a word or phrase that is used more than once in the same day and it is a Friday afternoon and you are wondering is there a message behind the word for me, like something from the supernatural world...Nah!  It is just me watching the clock and waiting for the rain to stop.

Hever castle in Kent

Smack right in the centre of Kent is a village called Hever. Anne Boleyn lived in Hever castle before she married King Henry VIII. What is interesting is this place is so tranquil. There is a lake in the gardens where you can rent a boat and row your heart out. Getting to Hever castle is a breeze. We live in Surrey and to get to Hever, you get onto the A3 and then use the M25 motorway and it is sign posted all the way.

You have the choice of entering the castle or just the grounds. There is a yew maze and a water maze that are superb for kids.

Chasing cars

After spending more than half a day writing on research methodology, multiple regression and correlation analysis, I feel my brain has regressed to a vegetative state. I actually watched a Gumball 3000 video to unwind. I just couldn't get my mind off chasing cars so I am listening to Chasing cars.
